iSolon Team Development |
|
We provide focused and high impact team development workshops which equip delegates with a bank of applicable tools and skills in order to accelerate individual and team performance. We can help organisations which have specific requirements in the following areas: forming teams; crisis management; political influence and assertiveness; sustaining high performance; culture and behaviour review; integration of new joiners; strategic planning; innovation and 'speeding up' of work execution. As we rate highly the skills of the military in these areas we would recommend that our clients seriously consider leveraging centuries of experience within the Armed Forces to their advantage. Here are just a few examples of venues and exercises that have worked well in the past. |

RAF Halton, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
This option includes the use of Halton House Officers' Mess and the surrounding estate. The training rooms, located in the main house, have multi-media facilities and are located adjacent to the experiential outdoor task sites, sited in the woodland copses of the estate. The outdoor elements provide a series of progressively more difficult team challenges that can be themed into one continuous story. Your team, for example, could work as separate teams focused on delivering a larger objective. The success of the programme will be based upon the collective effort and success of each individual team delivering against their respective objectives. |

HMS Raleigh - Plymouth
HMS Raleigh, the home of Naval recruiting, is a purpose built training establishment with a range of fixed exercises both land and water-based. The delegates would be accommodated in the Officers' Mess and dine in the Wardroom. This option will utilise a series of practical exercises, both outdoor and indoor table top-top options, to investigate and develop the way the team operates as one unit. The team will be given the opportunity to work up to an exercise in the multi-million pound 'Sinking Ship Simulator, which is located on site. This exercise represents a considerable test of team development, where the team will be placed under a significant amount of controlled pressure. This memorable and exciting challenge has been utilised successfully with numerous corporate teams. Another challenge available is the 'Disaster Relief Exercise' which tests the delegates ability to manage logistics, communicate effectively, share information, plan and make decisions in a hostile, high-pressured environment. The Naval facilities and infrastructure within HMS Raleigh will be used in order to achieve this. |

Yacht Based Development
This option utilises 72 feet 'Global Challenge' yachts [or 'Sunsail' yachts] for a performance challenge day in the Solent. This day would begin on the evening of day one. Once sailing skills are up to scratch on day two, the challenge will begin. Participants will compete to score points whilst sailing around buoys within the Solent. Each delegate will take turns in leading and managing the team throughout the activity. This yacht programme would involve the 'Global Challenge' or 'Sunsail' skippers because their first hand experiences would be central to the team and leadership insights developed on the programme. In addition there are literally hundreds of ready made simulations and exercises available for organisations of every type and size. Please contact us to discuss. |
